In my study time, I read Psalm 112. There were 2 verses that stood out to me.
Psalm 112:7&8 KJV
He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the Lord.
His heart is established, he shall not be afraid, until he see his desire upon his enemies.
To me, this says:
Do not be afraid of evil tidings (definition: news, information). Fix your heart on God, trust Him. Establish your heart. Do not be afraid.
I was also reminded that John 14:27 says:
Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
Be encouraged today. Do not be afraid when you hear or receive bad news. Fix your heart on God and trust Him. Establish your heart in God and do not be afraid. Walk in the peace that God has given you. This is not a peace of the world. Be reminded that God gives us peace that passes all understanding.
Philippians 4:6&7 says:
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Seek God in prayer when you hear bad or evil news or information. Seek Him in prayer and let your requests be made known. Cast your cares before the Lord because He does care for you. Give Him the things that burden you and He will sustain you.
1 Peter 5:6-7 says:
Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:
casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
Psalms 55:22 says:
Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: He shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.
No matter what news or information your day, your week, your month, your year, or your season brings, please be encouraged and not afraid. Fix and establish your heart on God. Go to God in prayer, give Him your burdens, and trust Him.
God Bless You and I hope this has been an inspirational seed for your soul 🌼
This was good! To God be the glory!
